Hi, I'm Makenzie (she/her)! I am a North Carolina native and proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I’ve always been drawn to both creativity and organization, whether that’s hiking local trails, crafting something by hand, or building detailed spreadsheets just for fun. When I’m not researching vendors, breaking down budgets, or refining timelines, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my mini-me’s, soaking up the moments that matter most.

Wedding planning felt like a natural calling when I realized I could blend my love for meaningful celebrations with my knack for list-building, problem-solving, and thoughtful coordination. I approach every couple like a trusted friend, someone who’s in your corner, keeping you calm, organized, and confident every step of the way. My goal is to create a planning experience that feels supportive and stress-free, so you can stay present, enjoy the process, and fully soak in your wedding day knowing every detail has been handled with care.

Hi, I'm Sarah (she/her)! As a Lead Planner with Carolina Event Masters, I specialize in creating beautifully organized, stress-free weddings across North Carolina. I’m a creative at heart, a devoted wife and mother, and someone who truly thrives on calming the chaos so my couples can fully enjoy their engagement and wedding day.

With a Type A personality and years of hands-on wedding planning experience, I bring structure, clear communication, and thoughtful organization to every event. From timelines and logistics to vendor coordination and day-of execution, my goal is always the same: to provide a seamless, elevated planning experience that allows couples to feel confident, supported, and present on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

I’ve had the privilege of assisting Kenzie since Carolina Event Masters’ very first solo wedding, and I’ve loved watching the company grow while helping bring countless wedding visions to life. Being part of such intimate, joy-filled moments never gets old, and I’m deeply honored to walk alongside our couples from planning to “I do.”

Lead Planner

Hi, I’m Ginny (she/her), a North Carolina native and proud graduate of UNC Wilmington (go Seahawks!).

With a unique triple major in Mathematics, Statistics, and Theatre: Design & Technology, I’ve always loved blending analytical thinking with creativity. After graduating, what started as a simple job posting in events quickly turned into a true passion as I realized how perfectly events let me bring both sides of my brain together.

For nearly four years, I served in the Office of Events at Meredith College (where I’m proudly known as an “Honorary Angel!”). There, I was introduced to the amazing world of wedding planning! Weddings can feel wonderfully joyful and completely overwhelming at the same time. That’s where I come in. My specialty is stepping back from the chaos, seeing how all the pieces fit together, and creating a calm, organized experience for my couples. As your Lead Planner, I handle the details so you can fully enjoy this special season with love, laughter, and zero stress.

When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll find me at home with my husband and daughter, curled up with a romantasy novel, or working part-time as an Emergency Telecommunicator for 911.
